ETS Geo is a geotechnical engineering company based in Cairns, Far North Queensland. ETS operates a number of geotechnical drilling rigs and a drilling barge. We have recently purchased a new Comacchio GEO305.

The position will be based in our Cairns office working in the northern parts of Queensland and surrounding areas. The applicant should have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of being a lead (or assistant) geotechnical driller with experience in solid augering, rotary wash boring, percussion hammer drilling and NMLC coring. A good knowledge of performing testing such as SPT and U50’s is essential.

You will need a HR Licence and Cert III or IV in Drilling Operations.

The position is a wages position with penalties and travel allowances.

The position will be based in our Cairns office working in the northern parts of Queensland and surrounding areas.

The applicant should have demonstrated experience in geotechnical and / or structural / civil engineering industries working as a professional engineer.

You will need a driver’s licence and be willing to travel for short periods of time.
